About Mini Me
Mini-Me, is a little store
for little people, that is to say for children. However, there is nothing little
about the heart or personality of its owner. Ela Gruszka is the owner, and her
heart is as big as the world! From her premises, decorated with the childhood
stuffed animals which belonged to her now grown daughter, she draws in mothers,
fathers, children, grandparents, god-parents, aunts, uncles, and friends of the
family.
It is a very active store,
filled not only with fine quality beautiful clothes for children, but also
filled with love and attention. We all know that children (of all ages), thrive
on love and attention. Ela is like a fairy God-mother to all who pass through
her door. For the adults there is always a smile, a nice conversation, an ear to
listen to their tales of excitement or concern for their children, maybe even a
little advise. For the children, there are beautiful clothes, toys to play with
while their mothers are chatting, special attention from "Mrs. Gruszka", and a
treat when they leave. More often than not, each person is greeted by name, and
asked how they are, how their last special occasion was, and what is coming up
next.
Each child is given special attention, so that the right outfit is picked for
their age, body type, personality, and taste. The children love to come in and
visit their friend, Ela Gruszka.
Each child feels special in
her presence, probably because they really are special to Ela. The little boys
love to flirt with her, the little girls love to see what pretty clothes she
picks out for them. Usually, they come in and show her how nice they look in the
outfit or hat or shoes, or coat, that they bought the last time! Sometimes they
bring her photo-graphs from christenings, communions, flower girl and ring
bearer outfits, Christmas, Easter, pool parties, anything you can imagine.
Mini-Me is a delightful
place to be, whether you are an adult or a child, whether you are just looking,
or purchasing just the right thing, all because of the individual attention, and
expertise of Ela Gruszka, sprinkled generously with TLC!
